Day 20: Fruits and Veggies!

We're so far into the :

Which brings me to eating healthy and eating your serving sizes of fruits and veggies!  Before I was so caught up on "light" or "reduced fat" or "100 calorie packs", that I didn't focus on eating enough fruits and veggies!  You need to make sure you are eating your fruits and veggies to fuel your body and so you can be happy and healthy:)

By eating fruits and veggies it keeps you fuller longer and fills up your stomach much more!  When you eat more processed or fatty foods then you don't feel as full as long.  Make sure you chose more food that will fill you up and make you feel full longer:)

It's a good thing to cut out the "bad carbs" and keep the "good" carbs!  This will help with speeding up your metabolism.

 Make sure every calorie you put in your body counts!  Look for more of the nutritional value and what it's going to do to give you energy.  Look at all of the things that different fruits can supply your body!

 Does an apple a day really keep the doctor away?  Look at ALL of the benefits that comes with fruits!

Don't rule out fruit smoothies because they are packed with lots of nutriention and are super healthy:)

Great way to figure out when to buy your fav fruits and veggies and during which season:)  I have used this on several occasions!

I have always thought that healthier food = expensive, but look at this:

 This is really a great way of looking at the best way to spend your money and on what!  Eating healthy doesn't always mean that you will spend more money!

So there you have it!  Fruits and Veggies are your friend:)  You should really embrace them to help you along the way a healthier and happier you!!!
