Outfit Love!

Lately, I have been loving trying on clothes!  I'm starting to get my confidence back or I guess I should say, I have my confidence back:)  I think that I look pretty good!  I have worked really hard to get to where I am now!  Why not show off my hard work?

So lately, I have been pinning up a storm, but I guess that's not really anything new!  I have been finding all sorts of neat pins.  Pins from working out inspiration to outfits that I completely adore.  There really is no rhyme or reason to what I have been pinning...if I find it interesting then I PIN it!

I wanted to share with you all some pretty A-mazing pins that I have come across:)  These are pretty random....

You all know how I LOVE different ideas for painting your finger nails and I just fell in love with this idea!  It reminds me of spring and I think these colors are really in this season:)

Not only am I HUGE fan of finger nail polish, but I heart anything dealing with makeup, especially eye shadow.  I don't know how many places or times you could try this, but isn't it just awesome?!?

I could be considered an addict for accessories because I have so many bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and etc.  This watch is rocking, but my favorite is the bracelet!!  I want to find a "believe" bracelet because I need to be reminded daily or whenever I feel that I need it, to believe in myself, and the things that I can accomplish:)  Since starting this weight loss journey, that is what has gotten me to where I am now!  Anyways, here it is.....

Quick Fashion Friday!

Happy Friday!!  That means it's time to have fun and relax!!!  That is what this girl is going to do:)  Lately, before I head off to school, I've been taking pics of what I'm wearings.  So, I thought that I would share them with you all:)

It was homecoming week and dress up day = Hat Day!

I have at least a couple jackets right now and I LOVE them because it really nips you in at the waist and it makes you look really slim:)  Believe me if I could, I would buy so many more jackets, but they are pretty expensive, at least the ones that fit me right.  My fav. jacket is the gray one because of the details on the side!  I would tell everyone that jackets are a staple for your wardrobe!  I can pair so many different tops with each of these jackets and you can have a different look each time!!  Who else is a jacket lover?!?!?

Fashion Friday

Happy Friday everyone:):):)  TGIF is all I have to say!!!  On my birthday last week, this is the outfit I wore out to dinner.  My favorite part is the sparkly pink top, it just screams out fun!  It has been a LONG time since I could say this, but I do look pretty damn good in this outfit and it actually makes me feel sexy!  Three months ago, I would have never thought I would be saying that again.

Birthday Date Night Outfit!

See the lilac bush in the back of the yard....I usually take my pic back there since not too many peeps can see me, but our neighbors were in their backyard.  I felt a little awkward taking a pic where they could completely see what was going on.  So, I had to sneak to the side of the house to take these lovely pictures:)

I bought the jeans from Express $69, Pink Sparkly Top from Maurices $29, blazer from Maurice $49 and the boots from Famous Footwear and I believe they were $59.  Overall, it was a little on the pricier side especially with the jeans and blazer, BUT I can wear the jeans pretty much with anything AND they look good on me!!

Fashion Friday!!!! Yee-haw:)

It is Friday!!!!  Woohoo!!!   I know that I told you a couple weeks ago that I had bought some clothes from the Mall of America and wanted to share it all with you!  Here is one outfit that I bought!!  It's a lil' country, y'all:):):)  I'm loving me some cowboy boots!  I think I can pull these off since I lost my weight and aren't these just the cutest cowboy boots you've seen?!?!?  I think so:):):)

I bought almost everything from Maurices, except my cowgirl boots!  The pants are Hydralics and the shirt is a Maurices shirt:)  I found the cowgirl boots at DSW!  I think that was my fav store at Mall of America::):):)  Pants = $49 and the shirt = $29 Cowgirl boots =$59

Happy hump day everyone:):):)  We're half way through this week!!!  That means I'm that much closer to watching the Hawkeyes play my college team the Panthers!  The Hawks started off terribly this season and I think that the Panthers are going to kick some major butt!!!

I have most of my Halloween outfit planned and bought already!  I want to keep what I'm going to be a secret...ssshhhh....so I thought that I would give you a sneak peak of one item that I bought for it.  Take a guess if you think you may know!

Weekend Glimpse!

Hey Everyone!!!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and had a blast:)  I sure did this weekend because I had a girls weekend and we went SHOPPING at Mall of America!!!!  It was much needed.  The weekend was pretty relaxing and just some good ol' fun!  I found some clothes, but not as much as I had hoped:(  I will have to share with you all what I bought in another post.  This one I wanted to show you what we did and some delicious, but not so nutritious things we ate!

Goal Met - Check!

Hey there lovely ladies!!!  This past weekend, I was super busy and had tons of fun with the hubby and family:)  I had made a goal about a little over a month ago to be able to fit into a shirt that i bought for the fair.  Well, the good news is that I fit into it and it wasn't too tight:)  I thought it actually looked pretty nice.  I didn't end up wearing it to the fair though because I found a different outfit that I loved and matched my purse!  Anyways, here is my shirt that I think looked pretty nice on me:)

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all had a great Friday:) I have a very busy Saturday planned...first I took the doggie for a walk, worked out on the elliptical, and then I will need to drive to my parents to go to a fun-filled day at the county fair! I will need to be extra careful there because I don't want to completely derail my diet! Last night, we had one of our couple friends over for dinner and it was quite fun! I had posted what I was planning on making for the night. I made everything except the red sangria because it would have only been for me and we all know that I don't need that much to drink!!!! I wanted to show you the delicious potatoes that I made for everyone! I found the recipe on this site! If you want the recipe then just click away:):) Mine didn't turn out as crunchy as they were suppose to, but they were still darn good!

 Since I'm going back home to the county fair, I decided to get on my fancy pants clothes..not really, but I wanted to show you me newer outfit!  I love the blue shorts!  I bought them from White House Black Market and I bought my top from Maurices.  The handbag is the one I bought from Okoboji Lake, along with the watch!

Fashion Friday!!!

Hey Friends!!!  TGIF, am I right?!?!?  Woohoo to Fridays, even though I have Fridays all the time during the summer!  I know that's not fair, but it sure is nice:)  I told you last post that we're going camping..oh..ya!  I can't wait!  I'm planning on eating healthy and exercising so I don't put on weight over the weekend, wish me luck!

In my Pumped Up Kicks post, I showed you my new shoes and I told you that Dana and I really did some damaged, as far as shopping goes.  Well, I wanted to share with you a few other things that I bought.  We LOVE to go shopping at Maurices, in fact we are totally obsessed!  We are practically walking Maurices manikins, not even lying!!  I bought a couple different things on Wednesday.  Here are two of the items that I bought:)

Isn't this dress adorbs?  I'm loving the color and even though the dress is a little bland, the pop of purple, offsets the blandness.  Don't you think?  See those shoes I'm wearing, those weren't from Maurices, but Kohl's which is another fav of mine:)

My dress was $35, the necklace $14, and the shoes $30!  Not too bad!

I wanted to purchase this because as of right now it doesn't fit me:(  Sad, I know, I know and you might ask then why buy it?!?  Since I've been making healthier choices for what I eat and how I exercise, I plan on being able to wear this shirt by the end of July for our county fair:)  Making a goal like this really motivates me to continue with loosing weight!  I really love this shirt because it is only 1 sleeve, the color, and the print!  I think this will be a goal that I can and WiLL reach by the end of July.  At that time, I will write on post and show you how I look:)

I have so many other goals for my weight loss, but I will have to share with you at a later time.  I need to get ready to go camping!!!  I hope you guys have an awesome weekend!

Hey All!  I've been super busy lately and haven't had much time to work on any crafts or try any new recipes, so I haven't been posting as much!  I did however, spend a little time on Polyvore this week, drooling over all of the amazing clothes and outfits.

I wanted to show you some of the outfits that I put together.  Since it's Spring and it's really warming up out there, I have been wanting to find an outfit that is pastel colors and cool.  So, I saw this pink flowy top and thought that it would be perfect for a picnic or a day on the town with the girls, such as shopping:)  The accessories really pull the outfit together.  I'm loving those light pink jeweled shoes, aren't they so pretty?

Happy, happy Friday All:P  It's time for the weekend...woohoo!!!

Do you know what day it is on The Blooming Daisy?  That's right Fashion Friday:)  This is the first week for it!  I heart Polyvore, fashion, and shopping so much that I'm dedicating one day of the week to it!  Whether it be inspiration from Polyvore, or fashion I see on Pinterest, or my weekly shopping finds!  

Today, I decided to post some outfits that I put together on Polyvore.  Come and check them out!

I call this outfit, Time to Get Your Beach On!  The teal reminds me of the beach and plus it's a maxi dress!  I'm just drooling over this dress...wishing I could buy it.  You will soon find out that I'm a HUGE lover of print!!  This dress stripes plus zigzags...love:)

 I say this over and over again, but I LOVE teal and that's why I choose this next dress!  Casual Chic:)  Ruffles and one shoulders are my friends!  Don't you just love those earrings and shoes!  The shoes are a baragin price, too!  I think they are under $20, check out the link below to see for yourself:)

Weekend Recap

Happy, happy Monday everyone:):)  I hope you all had a great weekend!!!  My weekend was alright, could have been better, but you know how that goes.  I told you all in my last post that I was going with my lil' sis to help her pick out her wedding dress.  The Update is that she FOUND one, it fits her like a glove, and she will be a beautiful bride on her wedding day:)  I would post a picture of her, but I promised her I wouldn't just in case her fiancee looks on here then it would ruin the surprise.  I do have some picture from this weekend to share with you though!

Fashion Friday!!!!

Hey there fellow bloggers!! Shopping is my second job other than teaching, and I can always find some cute outfits:)  I just wanted to share a couple of my most recent purchases with everyone!

I bought this top from Maurices, which is the BEST store ever!  They have really cute clothes for a pretty good price! I got my necklace from Kohl's it has to be one of my favorite necklaces so far.  I bought this shirt because I have a lot of dressy shirts and didn't really have many, if none at all, casual shirts.  At first, I wasn't to excited about the sleeves, but I like how they look especially with the scoop neck line:)

 This is my new favorite top!  I purchased this from Maurices, too.  Layering is a good way to add color and interest to your outfits and that's just what I tried to do.  I thought purple and light gray would be a complimentary color combo.  I'm debating whether or not to go with the same color combo for our bedroom....I still can't decide.  I found the necklace at Maurices also.  The jacket can be worn with many other tops, so that's a plus!  Again the reason why I bought this top is because I don't have many tops that are casual.  What do you think of these?  Which one is your favorite?
