Traveling Musts Haves!

Yesterday, we just got back from my in laws, which is quite the haul from where we live!  I spent all day, what I had left anyways, trying to clean and do laundry:)  Whenever we go see the in laws, we end up staying for the whole weekend, mainly because it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get there.

I'm the kind of gal who has TONS of accessories, makeup, products, clothes, or shoes to bring along because let's face it you have to e prepared for anything, right?!?!  There are 3 must haves that I absolutely need when we go on weekend vacations!

1.  This organizational tote is perfect for my accessories, makeup, and products!  I love, love, love it because of it's size and all the little compartments that way I can find everything pretty easily:)  I was given this as a birthday gift and it was from Dress Barn, but you can find them at Maurices for about $10.00 cheaper!  I think this was $28.00, not too bad, especially for how many times I use it!

Accessories Tote!
You can definitely tell it's been used.  I left some of my things in there just to show you all of the things that can fit in it!

2. My flattening iron holder, is my 2nd favorite travel must have!  No matter if your straightening iron was just used you can still grab it without worrying about what might happen if it touches something it could possibly melt.  Plus, isn't the fabric too cute?!?!  I bought this from Maurices and I think it was about $12.00!
Can't leave without it!

Great color combo:)

3.  Last, but not least, (I think everyone has one of these) I just love it because of the print and the style of it!  Isn't it so cute for a weekend bag anyways?

Isn't it stylish?
So these are my favs for when I travel and I can't leave home without them!  It makes it harder when i don't have them.

Do any of you have some must haves that you bring with you on weekend trips?   Hope you lovely ladies are having a fantastic day:)

Until next time!!!!

  1. I pack sooo much! even when we just go away for the weekend. I really need to learn to cut back. I always feel like if I'm away I'm going to want something I leave at home LOL. and I carry bags and bags of things with me, my best packing advice though is to purchase a "laundry" bag to put all the dirty clothes in so when you get home you don't have to sort through dirty and clean clothes to figure out which ones need washing!

    1. I'm the same way! I need to say when enough is enough! I've always been thinking about buying a laundry bag, just never have. Thanks bunches for the advice:)

  2. I love all of your must haves! I need a weekend bag.. yours is so cute!

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog:) If you have any questions then feel free to ask away and I will get back to you!
