PInterest = Basement Inspiration:)

Well, just like many of you, I am addicted to Pinterest whether I'm looking for different crafts, recipes, or just inspiration.  I have been finding and pinning a lot of different inspiration on my Pinterest boards:)  Some of the pins I have found on Pinterest while the other ones have been from random blogs, websites, or HGTV(gotta love it).

I just wanted to take this time to share with you some of the fabulous inspirations I have been finding out there on this wonderful web!!!

Take for instance this lovely color on the wall:

House of Smith

The color combo in this room is just soo soothing and relaxing:)

This next pic I fell in love with the jewel tones with the turquiose.  Wouldn't that be a rich color combo?

Google
The Yellow Capecod

This beautiful entertainment center/shevling units how awesome are these?  There would be soo much storage in it!

Small Place Style

Just love the simplicity of the room and then you have the pops of color centered around the chair!

House of Turquoise
This is one of my projects on my to do list, the wedding photo canvas!  I love the look of it against the wall color and the contrast of it with the white dresser!  Have any of you tried to create a photo canvas?  Which way do you think worked best for you to create it?

There are just a gazillon ways to find inspiration for different projects.  I find it challenging to be able to narrow down the inspiration so I can have only a couple visions for our basement:-/

How do you find your inspiration?

Until next time!

  1. Thanks for these great pins! The fireplace built-ins are EXACTLY how I pictured having built-ins put in my house but could not find a picture! So thanks for posting the picture!!! I will be re-pinning that for the (hopefully sooner rather than later) day that we put in our fireplace built-ins!!
