New Lifestyle Change!

Happy Friday everyone!!!  It's a very happy Friday for me because I went for a walk, lifted weights, and biked at the gym and finished all before 11 am:)   For me that's great because before I started changing my lifestyle I would usually get up between 9-10 am!  It's also a great Friday for me because my best friend, I, and all of her bridesmaids are going to be going to look for bridesmaid dresses today:)  I'm excited for that because she is my best friend and  I love doing wedding things with her and because I won't be afraid or depressed about trying on the bridesmaid dresses!  My lil sis had a bridesmaid dress trying on and it was seriously horrific!  I couldn't fit into any of the dresses because they were all a size 12 or smaller.  I really felt like a stuffed sausage!
 I hate to admit this, but I even had a mini-panic attack and started crying in the fitting room:(  I felt bad because I didn't want to ruin it for my sister and also because I couldn't fit into any of the dresses.  I tried to keep it to myself, but I may have came off as a little bit upset...  Being able not to fit into clothes is seriously the one of worst feelings EVER!  I'm almost tearing up, right now just thinking about that situation!

So, today I will be celebrating that I am only 2.6 lbs away from losing 20 lbs and fingers crossed that I will be able to fit into SOME dresses:):):)

Enough of that, I wanted to share with you all what I do for my weekly workouts and some workouts that I want to incorporate into my routine soon:)

Before I go into that,  I just wanted to tell you all something that I've been trying to do every night...get at least 8 hours of sleep, if not 9, because I heard it's very vital to losing weight and of course being in a better mood and etc. I found this on Pinterest and found it very interesting:
Alrighty, now onto my weekly workouts!!!  As you all probably know, I am getting to be a Zumba pro(I just like to think  I religious go to Zumba on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights!  I'm soo glad that I started going to Zumba because it such a blast and I feel TONS better after I'm finished with the workout!  If you LOVE to dance then this would be the class for you.  The class is fun and it kicks your butt, not even kidding!  The best part about the class is that you can either, take the moves down a notch and take them up a notch.  You can workout at a pace that is right for you:)

Our Zumba class that we go to has about 40-50 people at a time and it's like a flash mob!  There really is soo much energy and the instructor gets into it.  I heart Zumba with a passion and I seriously don't know what I would do without it!
Whenever I hear the word "Zumba", this is what I look like!  Not really, but you get the picture:)

I also go to the gym and lift weights for 1 hour 3 days a week!  Lately, I've been upping the lbs that I've been lifting which is really a great feeling:)  I have to say when I first started going, I felt embarrassed and didn't want to go by myself, but now I'm not embarrassed.  I'm excited to get a great workout in and feel excellent afterwards!
I also ride the bikes when I'm there for 30 minutes each time! 
Taking my little doggie for a brisk 45 minute walk, every day, depending on the weather of course!

On the weekends, if I'm home, I will use my elliptical!  I used to use this ALL of the time, but now since it's nice out, it's been collecting dust!

One of the areas that I know will be a problem area for me are my abs.  I know that I don't have any "abs" right now and probably won't for a little while, but I figure it's better to work them out now then waiting until I lose all of the weight and then decide to kick it into gear.  So, I've been doing this ab workout 3-5 times a week!  Let me tell you, it is definitely a great workout and I can feel the burn!!!  Love it:)

I don't do a whole lot of "free" toning, sorry don't know the correct terms of it.  I do a lot of weight lifting at the gym with the weight machines, but not a lot free weights or toning.  So, I would like to incorporate that a little bit more.  I thought this might be something good to try out.  I have a medicine ball, so why not?!?!
This is my ultimate exercise goal though:
Ignore the title, just look at the pic...LOL!  I want to get back to running.  I used to be able to run 5-6 miles per day!  I want to be able to run in a 5K before the end of this year.  I know I can do this and I so want to do it.  You get the biggest high from running and I LOVE it!

To all of you out there that are unsure if you can make a lifestyle change, just know that if I can do this then so can you!  I am not going on any particular fad diet.  I'm just watching what I eat and making sure I'm giving my body enough nutrients it needs to be healthy.  We all have to start somewhere!  I hope you all have a great weekend:)
