Hey All, I hope your having a fantastic Monday! I have to say that I can't believe that it's almost already Thanksgiving...this year is just flying by!!! Before you know it will be Christmas and then the New Year:-o This time of year has always been my fav for many reasons such as: spending time with family, falling in love with the first snow, enjoying all of the Christmas goodies, and having a little extra time off:):) Who wouldn't love that?
I wanted to share with all of you lovely fellow blogger's, my most recent DIY project, and it is a "JOY" sign!
*Christmas Joy* |
What you will need:
Cardboard letters of your choiceChristmas scrapbook paper
Mod Podge Matte
Cutting Board
Scissors
Accessories to add
Steps to make the "Joy" sign:
1. Trace the letters on the back of the scrapbook paper
2. Cut out the letters
3. Measure the side of the letters. Mine was 1" wide, so i just cut out 1" wide strips.
4. Use your Mod Podge to glue the front, back, and sides of your letters.
5. Wait for it all to dry about 30 minutes or so.
6. Add your accessories to dress up your letters
I like that it looks a little more countryish! Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy
and your finished!!!! This is such a quick, and easy, festive project. I
will be making one of these for Halloween next year or for Spring:) I hope you have as much fun as I did trying one for yourselves:)
What wonderful projects have any of you tried for the Holiday season?
For the 24 Days of Giving Thanks, I am thankful for all of the fabulous students whom I teach! Without them work wouldn't be as fun and enjoyable. They are such a lovely group of students:) I couldn't ask for any more!
