Caution, Work in Progress!

Hey All:)  I am very excited for the way our basement bathroom is looking, so far.  I have my wonderful husband and my father in law to thank for this:)  The hubby has put a lot of hard work into this and I'm just so lucky to have a hubby that is a handy man and can do just about anything he puts his heart to!    It's not finished yet and it will probably be a little while, but I picture it all in my head:)

Not only has the hubby been working away, but we bought a lot of fixtures, and things to complete the look of the bathroom.

Traveling Musts Haves!

Yesterday, we just got back from my in laws, which is quite the haul from where we live!  I spent all day, what I had left anyways, trying to clean and do laundry:)  Whenever we go see the in laws, we end up staying for the whole weekend, mainly because it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to get there.

I'm the kind of gal who has TONS of accessories, makeup, products, clothes, or shoes to bring along because let's face it you have to e prepared for anything, right?!?!  There are 3 must haves that I absolutely need when we go on weekend vacations!

1.  This organizational tote is perfect for my accessories, makeup, and products!  I love, love, love it because of it's size and all the little compartments that way I can find everything pretty easily:)  I was given this as a birthday gift and it was from Dress Barn, but you can find them at Maurices for about $10.00 cheaper!  I think this was $28.00, not too bad, especially for how many times I use it!

 You can definitely tell it's been used.  I left some of my things in there just to show you all of the things that can fit in it!

2. My flattening iron holder, is my 2nd favorite travel must have!  No matter if your straightening iron was just used you can still grab it without worrying about what might happen if it touches something it could possibly melt.  Plus, isn't the fabric too cute?!?!  I bought this from Maurices and I think it was about $12.00!

What I'm Loving Today!

Hey everyone!  I hope you all enjoyed your day:)  I sure did because it was 77 degrees in this part of Iowa!!!  For the month of March, temperatures should be around high 40's! So, these temps are unheard of!  I accomplished a lot today like: gave our doggie a much needed bath, cleaned the house, and worked out(wish I would have went for a walk.)

Today, I thought that I would join in with Little Daisy May blog and tell everyone what I'm loving today:)

I'm loving that I can find beauty in my backyard!  The trees are starting to bloom their buds!!  Means we're this much closer to Spring...YAY:):):)  Isn't it gorgeous?

Low Calorie Personal Pizzas

I have been craving pizza and in particular, my semi-homemade mini personal pizzas.  So this past weekend, I bought all of the ingredients for them, but I forgot one important thing, the English muffin for the "crust".  Well, I live in a smaller town, so I couldn't go to a Walmart or Hy-Vee, but we do have a local grocery store.  I ran to the grocery store to look for an English muffin and had no luck:(  I did, however, find Brownberry Sandwich Thins (Multi-Grain) and I'm glad that I did:)  These made the perfect crust!!!  They were a good consistency and overall a pretty healthy choice!
